Training
The spirit of continuous learning among our people and an organizational commitment to continuous personal and professional development are part of the formula for Nisum's success. At Nisum, we believe that employee satisfaction is also a derivative of individual growth and overall development. Potential is recognized and opportunities for further learning are provided. The training plan provides a sequence of inputs as individuals grow through their professional career. Training and development initiatives are available for the employees and cover the following -
  • Technical training: The Training department at Nisum offers a variety of training programs on a regular basis for Middle level employees to help them achieve personal and project related goals.
  • Boot-camp Training: We have an entry-level training program, which is of 2 months duration. This course equips fresh graduates with necessary skills to work in applications in a growing software company.
  • Quality Process Training: This training is tailored to the role that one is playing i.e. Software Engineer, Project Associate, Project Managers etc. Nisum has a strong focus on quality processes and methodologies and has recently been appraised for Maturity Level 3 of Comma v 1.2.
  • Soft skills and Behavioral Programs: Programs to enhance managerial capabilities and leadership abilities, to enable better customer satisfaction, to achieve organizational vision and to create high performing teams.
People Practices
Apart from imparting formal trainings we have also formulated some innovative practices for people development. Some of these practices are -
  • Try to provide job rotations and opportunities to contribute to organization building efforts over and beyond regular work.
  • Provide avenues for employees to give feedback to the organization.
  • Enable requisite levels of freedom and independence at work to enable employees to deliver their best.
  • Have a robust performance management system that is driven by quarterly feedback, goal setting and a commitment to recognize contributions.
  • Provide opportunities for identifying leaders within the organization who can be groomed for management responsibilities.
